A Letter To My Readers

Dear Reader,

Your presence is not lost on me.

I just started taking this blog seriously in December. I got up my courage and tried to post something every day. I noticed that people were actually clicking on my stuff.

Then, in January, I started watching my numbers–you know, the “stats”. and they were pretty freaking good for somebody who has never stepped out into the void on complete faith. I was stunned.

I am amazed and humbled by the fact that I have had so many visitors, some of whom come back to read to other things too. I have a slow but steady increase of followers from all kinds of places. I am too geeked by these developments. I have been writing since I was in the 1st grade. I love words. I love thinking. I love learning. I love sharing. I love writing.

And I love you for taking the time to read it.

I know that what I write is kind of random. I also know that you might not agree with or like what I have to say. But I appreciate your presence. I am going to keep writing no matter what happens with these numbers, but I won’t lie–it is encouraging to know that you think my posts are worth clicking on. It is even more humbling when you LIKE this stuff! It lets me know that I am at least progressing. And that is important to me.

Anyways! I appreciate you. Thank you for reading. I hope something I say brightens your day or encourages you or at least gives you some feeling besides boredom.

All the smooches that ever smooched,

K. Spencer
