My Daily Game Of Hide The Phone

My daily life challenge is a little different. I am not sharing a city or state. I am sharing a more existential place: my classroom.

The best part of teaching is interacting with my students. And my students love to interact with me by sneaking my phone out of whatever spot I have hidden it (or let me be honest–put it down) and taking as many selfies as possible before getting caught. If they can secretly post it to my Instagram account, they become legends. The bar has been set to shooting a live 15 second dubsmash.com video and posting it.

So instead of being mad, I join in the fun. Because school should be fun sometimes, right?

Anyhoo! Here are pictures from inside the bowels of the beast that is a visual and performing arts middle school (yes I have permission to post these).
