365 Days of Gratefulness: Day 19

Because I want to be intentional about expressing my gratitude even when I don’t feel like it…

Day 19: I am absolutely wore out. My mind is barely forming coherent words and phrases right now as I sit at my desk, wore out from juggling and battling. The only thing that I am grateful for today (not really ONLY but I guess the main thing) is that every day is a brand new one with new mercies and new opportunities to get it right. I am thankful that I don’t have to worry about tomorrow–I can just focus on making it purposefully through this day in the midst of God’s grace. Otherwise, I would definitely fall apart under the weight.

“Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:34‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”

‭‭Lamentations‬ ‭3:22-23‬ ‭KJV‬‬
